Sometimes, because of the way that text appears on roadmaps, it is possible to end up with view text that overlaps.

There are several ways to avoid this behaviour.

Method 1: Change to Original Theme

In the Layout tab, changing the theme from Condensed to Original will take text outside of the item bars.  This will provide more space to stagger text labels between items.

Method 2: Timeline Zoom adjustment

Zooming in more in the timeline bar will increase the amount of space available for each Item label.  This will mean that there can be more space for each item and there will be less overlap.

Method 3: Staggering Items between Streamlanes

Moving items from one lane where they overlap to two lanes can provide better alignment and easier text readability.

Special tip:  Remember that holding the [Shift] button while dragging keeps the dates of an item locked!
