Importing is done by way of the Roadmunk import feature. Importing is done from CSV files.
Table View: Select the Import button.
Timeline or swimlane view: Select the Import button.
Importing from a CSV file
Use the import function as demonstrated in the walk-through tutorial session. If you'd like to review the tutorial, the instructions are here.
Be sure that there is no header or footer in the CSV file - and that the columns are clearly labelled.
1. Item. Items are unique identifiers which must always be included in a CSV and must be different. (This is the only required field)
3. Start Date
4. End Date
Please note: Bucket should only be used as an entry when the start and end dates are not known. The bucket field will replace any start dates or end dates.

Roadmunk Demo Template
The above CSV uses the Roadmunk Demo dataset as imported during the tutorial wizard.
Download the sample import dataset here.
Roadmunk has many template roadmaps available.
Importing from Excel to Roadmunk is done by saving as a CSV in Excel. See the article for tips and help when saving files in Excel.
Bucket (Fuzzy time)
The Bucket item referred to above is for importing fuzzy time buckets. For more information see the guide here.
Please note: Using a Bucket will replace any dates set for that item. Buckets should be used only for items that do not have fixed dates.
Importing from JIRA
Importing from JIRA is covered in the article on JIRA integration.
Once a CSV import process begins, the Field Mapping stage commences. For more information and explanations on Field Mapping, see the article.
See below for the full video tutorial on importing data. The tutorial includes both the CSV and the field mapping steps.
