The Items Table also supports full keyboard navigation, letting you navigate to different cells in the Items Table using your arrow keys as you would in other apps that you may be familiar with like Excel or Google Sheets. 

  • The [ ↑ ] , [ ↓ ] , [ ← ] , [ → ] arrow keys on your keyboard let you move the focus to = adjacent cells
  • [ Tab ] moves the focus right a cell
  • [ Shift ] + [ Tab ] moves the focus left a cell 
  • [ Enter ] edits the focused cell value
  • [ Delete ] clears the cell (sets cell to “No Value”)
  • [ Shift ] + [ ↑ ] or [ ↓ ] selects or deselects item above or below the current focused cell

Keyboard Navigation when editing a List/Multi-Select List cell

  • [ ↑ ] and [ ↓ ] navigates dropdown menu
  • [ Esc ] closes dropdown
  • Single-select
  • [ Enter ] confirms highlighted option and moves focus down a cell
  • [ Tab ] confirms highlighted option and moves focus right a cell
  • Multi-select
  • [ Enter ] confirms highlighted option and keeps focus on current cell
  • [ Tab ] confirms highlighted option and moves focus right a cell

Keyboard Navigation when editing a Freeform/Numeric cell

  • [ Esc ] cancels editing (does not save changes)
  • [ Enter ] confirms change and moves focus down a cell
  • [ Tab ] confirms change and moves focus right a cell
  • [ ← ] , [ → ] navigates input cursor
  • Numeric Field
  • [ ↑ ] and [ ↓ ] increases/decreases numeric value
